Deal Friends,
I face big problem to upload 500 - 1000 stock images.
I work the last few years with Photoshelter and all work fine but no perfect, The last 4 month at Photoshelter the problem with the IPTC is grow and grow.

For example i add all the keyword (IPTC) online at the site http://www.photoshelter.com/ [nofollow] and then send to 20 web sites online.
When i go to the stock sites 50% of the keyword no there.
Only at five major site as SS, FT,DT and more 2 the key word work perfect 100%.

I work online because this easy and fast and that way you dont need any local FTP to send all files from your computer.

After talk with Photoshelter more then 10 time on the phone and show them that the problem with they say that we are sorry we see the problem and we dont going to fix is so you will need to find different solution.

Then i search on the internet and find the site picworkflow.com and test it and on this site the keyword is fine when i send to stock sites but the rest of the services that the site have no work good as: site slow, no bulk and easy way to add the keyword, the categories no work fine in few site that i test.
I talk with the owner and he is very nice but it will take time untilthe site will be able to give me the service that can help me.

From my understanding there are few kind of IPTC and when i use Photoshelter this no work good because they have different IPTC and for examples the sites SS, FT support this IPTC and that way i see all the key word.

I was thinking to add the key word from local software then upload to Photoshelter and from there send to all stock web sites.

Any one have any solution for local software for key word and better will be solution for the site Photoshelter or different sites.

* In the past i was work with isyndia this was the best ever !!!
Will be happy to understand how photographer that upload 1,000 images to 20 web site work ?

I used to be on Photoshelter, too. It worked great for FTP distribution to multiple sites but only if I prepared keywords before uploading to Photoshelter. If I edited keywords on their site I had same problem you describe. I left Photoshelter last year (for other reasons).

So now I still do my metadata locally on my computer using LR (but there's a ton of other tools/software to do this part of the job). Then I upload to Lightburner.com. They provide a distribution service and it is free! Downside is setting up your upload channels will take some effort (and hair pulling) until everything runs smoothly. But that it does for me now for more than a year.

So if i understand right still i can work with Photoshelter but to do it i will need to use local software for keyword then upload to Photoshelter ?

You use as local software LR do you recommended about different software as adobe bridge or other software like in the past that i know as http://www.cushystock.com/ [nofollow] that no work any more ?

What is so good with this site http://lightburner.com/ [nofollow] ?
