To specify, the upload is working fine, it is more the submit that seems to be having problems. I uploaded a batch of 20 images. All the images arrived at Shutterstock, but the software said it didn't submit any. When looking on the site, 16 of them were submitted + another 16 or so corrupt files and 4 files weren't submitted at all.
The software still showed all images were uploaded but no images were submitted.

Make sure you got "Automatic FTP processing" disabled in ShutterStock settings.
Re-upload all images and leave program with ShutterStock submit enabled for few hours.
If that won't help then there seems to be some changes on the site. I'll fix that once I'll get back home from holidays.

Automatic submit is turned off (the software turned it automatically off for me)
Leaving it for several hours might fix the missed uploaded but the numerous submits of 'half upload' files won't be fixed. Thanks for checking into it.

SS is having issues. I am not using MSS

I uploaded 8 last night, just using the drag n drop thingy. they're in the pending window.

Half-uploads can happen only if you click "process FTP" or similar link on shutterstock during or shortly after upload. Forcing submit manually in StockSubmitter will have same effect.
If this is not the case then may be there are issues with FTP processing on shutterstock atm.

Ok thanks. I can't promise that I didn't cause the faulty uploads - I'll do some more tests.
I still have 3 unsubmitted images though and MicrostockSubmitter has been sitting on '0 Submitted. submitting...' for the last 8 hours.

Ok, after a bit more testing with several batches of 20-30 images. Stocksubmitter seems to upload and submit all images properly except for 5 of them. With all the batches it uploaded everything except for 5 images.

Did you try to re-upload these 5 images? If the problem is reproducible please send these files to me so I can investigate the issue.

Ok.. here is today's report.
I selected 50 images in a folder to upload
I clicked upload and it said... uploading 46 images and indeed uploaded only 46 images, it acted as though the last 4 didn't exist.
It submitted 33 of the uploaded images and left 16 in the 'unfinished area' on SS
On the microstocksubmitter software it says it uploaded 46 images but if I look at each image individually (all 50 of them) all their status' say 'uploaded'.
... how's that for a riddle.

Otherwise it won't upload them.

Yes, SS will not mark images as submitted for shutterstock because of some technical limitations.
It submitted 33 of the uploaded images and left 16 in the 'unfinished area' on SS
Did you try to leave SS running for a while to let it submit remaining 16?

Yes, I left it for several hours (overnight once I believe)
Today, another batch of 50 and it only recognized 40 of the images. Could it have anything to do with a bracket in the file name? There is more than 10 images with brackets in the file name so I'm not sure how that could be the cause.. I'll try to trouble shoot it a little more and see if i can find the pattern.

ouch I have no idea if this problem in this case but as a general rule neverever use an additional character with the exception of the underscore in a filename (unicode), tip of the day ;-). As a sidenote I don't have any upload problems to SS (Shutterstock) using SS (Stocksubmitter).

I know.. naughty naught.
Adobe bridge added them when I bulk renamed a bunch of files and I noticed it too late. I already had my sorting and organizing done, I didn't want to go back and redo it. :S

Trying to upload one footage clip to Shutterstock via MicroStockSubmitter, but it stops after 96% finished. I have slow connection 45 kB/sec, but usually that is not a problem, I have just to wait too long. What is happening, why does connection breaks?

Try increasing the timeout in program settings.
Some FTPs accept the data flow faster than they can process it.
At ~99-100% the upload stops and the program waits until FTP accepts the file.
It can take long time.

My upload of photos is quite immediate (when they appear under "clips and images to be submitted").
And the review still fast.
My upload of vectors is very slow, and need weeks for review
(Vectors on FT are generally reviewed as they are uploaded - I never waited more than 2 hours on FT)

Since 2 hours ago SS has been unable to connect with google chrome so perhaps their server is down??????Very frustrating as I was in the middle of an upload.
