I get a notification that my password is incorrect... It's saved in my password manager, so I know that it's the one and only password I'd used on that page. It would definitely be important to see the stats in the account I do have access to, in the UI that I'm working with. Look forward to when you get to implement it. And if there is anything you can do to help with the password, that would be great.

Please try using the 'forgot password' feature and assign a new password.

Thanks, I've reset the password and was able to log in. I was surprised to see the balance details though. It shows some submissions that I wasn't aware of (like 123rf and Dreamstime) and doesn't show the hundred or so that got duplicated. Why would that be?

The system doesn't count uploads, only submissions.
Probably something was uploaded earlier but got submitted in this period.

Quick question, how do I get around the "keywords in the description" warning for Dreamstime? I never get it when I upload via FTP or directly to the website and most certainly, my description does include keywords...

You can mouseover the error message to see a detailed explanation and ways to fix it.

Thanks, that was helpful. For some reason, I've never noticed the tooltip on the status pane, only on the image thumbnails pane.

Also, I'm getting an Internal Error or Connection Error, Retry in XX notification on most of my agencies now, when trying to upload photos. Is there a known connection issue?

Probably issues on agencies side, the system will keep trying to upload until it'll work.

Hello,
Lately I have an issue about "Wrong FTP login/Password" on many sites. When I try to upload content it's just stuck with this status. It started with Colourbox and Alamy. Now it's Shutterstock. I can't upload to these sites now and it's really frustrating. I changed passwords on both Microstock plus and shutterstock and it still doesn't work. How can I fix this issue?

Shutterstock has a known issue with their FTP server at the moment.
The only way to resolve it is to contact them and tell them that you can't upload content via FTP. Or just wait, but I don't know how long will it take for them to fix it.

For Alamy it should be working if you have access to their FTP and have entered valid credentials in settings.

For some reason, I can't upload to MicroStock Plus. When I upload on the 'Uploader' page the files successfully load in the file uploader, and I get a message that the file has been uploaded. Then the file is no longer in the 'Queued' tab and has a checkmark next to it in the "Finished" tab. However when I go to the 'My Files' page the directory is empty, the file isn't there so I cannot upload it to agencies. I thought maybe it was the processing time, but I waited 12 hours and it still isn't there. I am uploading EPS files. I've also tried uploading via FTP, but also did not work. I also tried uploading a super small 1x1 EPS file and it also did not show up.

Any ideas what I may be doing wrong?

Are you uploading JPEG previews along with your EPS files?

Yes but it seems it depends also on what IP you're trying to upload from.
Please contact their support and tell them you cannot log in into their FTP.

I can upload fine from StSub app, but only get 'Queuing' via M+ ???

It's due to their issues with FTP servers.
Please contact their support and tell them you cannot connect to their FTP server.

If you can connect from your computer with another FTP client like Filezilla, then StockSubmitter should be working as well. If it doesn't and FileZilla does - the only possible reason would be different login/password specified in settings.

I've just encountered this problem for the first time. I uploaded 4 files from the desktop version of StockSubmitter to Microstock Plus. The ones headed to Shutterstock are not uploaded yet - the error is shown as "Invalid login or password". I haven't changed those for a long time on Shutterstock (or in the desktop application).

And I just tried in FileZilla - the connection was OK although I didn't try to upload files.

The login/password are Different in the App and M+  !!  the App is correct !  but try as I may I cannot get M+ to agree !?  It just resets back to what it thinks is right ??

App = Stu49  +  correct password ,   M+ = email addy +  Old password !!

I even tried de-activating and re-entering, but to no avail !  The App is working fine :-)

I also tried directly entering my user name and password for SS into Microstock Plus - the next upload cycle failed again with the same error.

I then forced the upload from within the desktop App to Shutterstock and that worked fine. But how do I tell Microstock Plus not to attempt these images again once this issue is resolved?

It's caused by issues with Shutterstock FTP server. Please contact their support and tell them you cannot log into their FTP using a FTP client.
If you've uploaded them already using desktop app you can cancel uploading in M+ by changing their status for Shutterstock to ready.

@Stu49

It's probably your browser putting a wrong data into login/password fields cuz it has remembered those values. They have nothing to do with the data the system is really using, because M+ DOES NOT SHOW ANY data in those fields in agencies settings at all! For security reasons M+ only accepts new values in those fields, it doesn't fill them back from the server, there is no way to get them back from the server.

So the reason for the error is described above in my answer to steheap, please read it.
