Post by: leaf on September 25, 2011, 03:22
I am having problems submitting to Fotolia again.  It uploads fine but won't submit the images.

... crestock also seems to have problems.  Upload is fine, but submitting doesn't seem to work.

+1.  If we all did the same, all the problems with FT would soon go away.

Oops, I didn't realize that is what you meant.  No, I did the standard ftp upload and keyword method.

I think it is caused by the issue in the previous version of the SS.
Can you please check whether these uploaded-and-not-submitted files have empty metadata on the site (no title, etc.) ?

strange..
I just tried uploading with another batch of photos and it uploaded and submitted them fine.

The original problem batch still sits unsubmitted.  Their metadata uploaded fine it seems.

Just remove em from the site, re-upload and submitter will recognize em.
Or submit em manually.

There was a bug in previous SS update causing such problem. Now it is fixed, but previously updated files will never be submitted due to this bug.

Hi

I just started to use Stocksubmitter very nice tool I can say but I have a question fo Fotolia so I apologize if it was explained somewhere else but i couldn't find it on other topics...

When submitting an image to Fotolia how does it deal with checking options for exclusive images or setting an image to be free if rejected and especially for extended license because as I see Fotolia sets minimum price as default when i go to edit an image...

I dont want to give EL for 10 , set an image exclusive or free if rejected so I was just wondering if there is there a way to set that?

Thanks

By default, StockSubmitter is setting:
- NOT exclusive image
- NOT allowing to put image to free section if rejected
- Maximum available prices for min and max licenses. For example, if Fotolia offers extended price range 10-20, StockSubmitter will set 20.

Hm , I just got a large batch rejected, plenty of images  for data issue reason...

It seams stocksubmitter is adding data as keyword something like this "zzzaanaaaidgdjdcdbcncaebgc" .

I submitted them manually and didn't checked for keyword only at few at the end and those were accepted ?

Is this normal and will it do that if i purchase stocksubmitter subscription again and go with auto-submit ?

Thanks

This keyword is used by SS to identify the file for submission process.
If you want to submit manually, set "Upload only" flag in site settings in SS.
If you want to submit automatically, don't do it manually or at least remove this keyword and you'll be fine.
