This just started today. I have uninstalled and reinstalled but I am still having the same problem. Every time I try to use the QuickMeta function, it just hangs and then gives me this error. Am I the only person this is happing too?

I've been debugging the crash for few days already but this one is not so easy.
Please try the new program update and let me know if it doesn't help :)

Thank you for your hard work. I tried out the new program update and got this error when running QuickMeta.

Could you send an error report?
After receiving such an error close the QuickMeta window and click the Errors button :)

It did not offer me the option to send an error report last night when I got that last error, so that is why I just posted the picture here. I checked it again this morning and it is working fine.
It downloaded an update when I launched the program, so I assume that you worked on it last night. Dude, You are awesome! Send me a link to make a donation for you.

Don't worry about that :)
If you will ever want to use a paid subscription you can support us that way :) But it's fine if you don't

Thanks. I don't really do that much and the 33 uploads per month in the free version is way more than I need. I just wanted to make a one-time donation to show my appreciation for your hard work. If I start doing more, I will definitely subscribe. Thanks again.

Can I ask you an unrelated question here? I uploaded some pictures directly to Alamy while out of the country. I am now back home and have added those picture to stocksubmitter to finish doing the metadata work and submit them. But SS does not see the picture on my alamy account and wants me to upload them again before I can submit them. How can I tell SS that the images are already on the account so I can update the metadata for the images without having to reupload them?

Unfortunately, there is no way for the program to understand, which files on your disk match those files on the agency website to read the metadata from them and submit them.
You will have to either re-upload them or submit them manually I'm afraid.

Thanks for the reply. Do you think the program will ever be able to do this? It would be really handy as a Microstock manager to be able to sync data between your online accounts and you local folders. I know the SS can check the online accounts for earnings download that data because it reports earnings in the program.

For such situations I would recommend using Microstock.Plus - it doesn't matter where you are or what device are you using, the system will keep the information on our servers, upload and submit content automatically.
For the desktop StockSubmitter probably we'll have a possibility to upload on some computer and submit on another by keeping the metadata of the uploaded files on our M+ servers as a backup. But I cannot promise that nor give any ETAs.
M+ will also have a feature of tracking the approval status and statistics of sales of your files uploaded and submitted by M+ :)

I've activated access to M+ for your account manually :) You can log in now.

Thanks, now it works.
