New issue here.

I have added a single photo to a folder.
Pressed F5 to update the content, it show the new file
I have added and tweaked keywords, added categories
I have selected some agencies to Upload an pressed the "Upload Selected"
I got the "Saving Metadata Changes" message and it got stuck for minutes. Progress bar not moving at all.
I closed the window and the yellow upload bar appears, they were not moving at all.
I tried to kill the upload process by click on the abort (red round button with x), nothing happened.
I had no alternative than close Stock Submitter and relaunch.

Of course, upon relaunch, I lost all Keywords and Categories.

Guys, this is soooooo frustrating, I am the only one having this big usability issue?
Why a beta version of an app (because this is a beta version of course) request payment to its beta testers???

Thanks,

Tina

The described issue can happen if the program thinks for some reason that the file is being used for another operation and thus "locked".
Obviously it can't be locked forever so there is some bug.
Are you sure you didn't do any other action besides listed?

Hi Dmitri,

No, after I save the JPG I don't do anything else. I only delete it after I have submitted it to all Agencies.

Thanks for you help,

Tina

Are you removing images in StockSubmitter using the file's context menu?

Is it resolved for eps/jpeg counterparts?  All of the sudden, on certain vector jpegs, I will get this attached error.  The only way around it is to resave the jpeg in photoshop, then restart the program.

Upon opening the jpeg in photoshop, I get this other error message.

Next time you will encounter this issue (the inability to save the metadata) please send me the file that the program complains about to the e-mail [email protected]
This will help to resolve it.
