Not sure if I ever asked this question, but whenever I upload a file, say "vector.eps", it changes the filename into something like: "429_cGVhcl9hbmdyeS5qcGc.eps"
Is it possible to keep the actual filename intact?

Some filenames are not being accepted by stock FTPs (for example, cyrillic ones or containing special symbols). Exact list of the characters not accepted by each stock's FTP is not that quick and easy to determine so the program just renames all the files to the safe filenames.

Okay, I understand, but I assume lowercase letters and numbers are widely accepted for filenames, so why not check for 'bad' filenames prior to uploading without destroying the original filename? For instance, the program could give an error message if the file contains anything other than letters, numbers and underscores.
