hello, when i try to upload i get the message: failed unable to talk to beanstalk. anybody got this problem?

dbvirago

You need some magic beans.

Seriously, none of my FTP files have shown up in a few days. Not sure what's going on

lprising

I've been having the same problem all day today. (It worked fine yesterday, though...)

Maybe some server maintenance Mostphotos does not care to let anybody know about?...

My question is - why upload here?

Seriously, have you found it worthwhile?

dbvirago

Worthwhile is relative. I spend about 10 seconds a day on the site. Other sites, like iStock which take 10 minutes to do the exact same job, I quit uploading to a long time ago.

But yeah, this one is on my short list to quit uploading to, just still do it out of habit.

Same here, yesterday all day it didn't work. Same error message as mentioned above. I don't use FTP, it happened with the normal browser upload interface. Now I finally managed to edit and publish the uploaded image. It took 15 minutes to show up (as opposed to the normal 2 seconds), but still: it is up, finally.

Upload don't work for me at this time.
- Is anyone had a sale on mostphoto ? It's the only one agency that I never had a single sale !

sharpshot

I had 18 sales there last month.  Mostly low subs range prices but occasionally they have a big EL price range sale that makes up for it.

How big is your portfolio ?

I bailed out twice there. I just don't understand why it's there. Yes, It's easy. That doesn't mean good. when the site was Brand new it was on fire. that lasted about 6 Months.

So you uploaded your portfolio, deleted it, uploaded again and deleted again?  That doesn't make sense to me.  They don't make me a lot of money but sales are regular and the payout threshold is lower than the other sites, so I will stick with them.
