It looks like that this type of support is working well in another topic with StockXpert. So I thought that we could do the same with MP. MP has two numbers systems.

Personal Points: It indicate how active you are and can open different levels in competitions. It also increases the amount of images that you can put on Request Critique.

MP-Index: This number is calculated per image and is influenced by view, comments, votes, ... It will determine your position in searches. (If you only vote 10's, then this can actually lower the images MP-I)

What to do?

Post a positive comment, vote positive (6-10), and view the image of the person before you. Afterward post one of your images.

MP is one of the new microstock sites but not brand new. I think that they are in an up trend. You receive EUR 12.50 per sale. So you don't have to sell as many as on other sites, but I think DT is still doing better in the moment for most of the contributers. FTP submit is very fast and there are no reviews. You upload and the images are live. So make sure you have releases where they are needed or upload the image as editorial.

I'm there for 2 months now and sold 1 file but I admit that getting 12,5 euro for 1 sale is sweet compared to 25 cents. And Like Henrik said, the upload process is fast and easy.

I started uploading as well in mostphotos.com, I like their concept and the site is pretty friendly, if anybody would like to check my pictures out  and maybe give me a vote or two + plus your oppinion on them, it will be very much appreciated.

Does anyone else have problems connecting to MostPhotos?  Sometimes it's there -- sometimes it isn't.

i've been in and out several times throughout the week, no problem so far.

perharps it's your ISP.  or did you just updated your browser.
 another thing that seems to work is:  if you're using your bookmark. try deleting it, and re-bookmarking it.
i find that sometimes with a bookmark that's been there for a long time, it screws up a bit.  not sure why.

hope it's back on for you now.
oh btw everyone, cheers for adding some comments and rating  to my portfolio.

A little warning to all photographers joining MostPhotos!
Just a couple of days ago I made the decision of cancelling my account as a contributor to MP, after been there a month or so and having over 80 photos, half of them top rated, I started to realized that the site is a joke, half of the contributors there have very little idea of what digital photography is, don't take me wrong, they have a group of great and very talented photographers, but for the most of them, all they upload are images that no other site would even looked at, they look very pretty as a thumbnail, but ones you get closer, the amount of noise,out of focus, and artifact is incredible...and this are the same people judging and rating everyone else's work...(like a blind man giving an oppinion on your image)...I'm not trying to discourage anyone to upload there, just that the 25 euros bait is not worth the trouble...Once a buyer gets close enough to some of the pictures there, I can guaranteed you, he/she will never be coming back, or search any further for great quality work  on that site...Oh! and lets not leave out the attitudes and rudeness of some of the less talented members...but hey, guys and girl, you be your own judge on MostPhotos.com...you've been worn.
