Haven't had a sale there for over 2 months now. They haven't been around long but I had better sales with lucky oliver and I have yet to see a site succeed when sales stop. Is there any reason to stay there?
-
The only reason I'm still there is because the uploading procedure is fast, very fast. (even if lately the FTP didn't work, files never showed up in the tagging area)
p.s.: If it wasn't for that, I'd quit a "long" time ago. No sales yet.

For me it is better to stay in MP than Featurepics were I have 0 sales. Anyway I stay in both

I get a few sales a month with Featurepics and I can just about live with that for now but my mostphotos sales have dried up. It seems that other sites that haven't kept some balance between buyers and contributors have failed. I am not sure if I want to go through another Lucky Oliver with the promise of better times ahead but sales going downhill.

Why not ? Upload is dead easy, the site is nice, there is a sale now and then (and each sale is worth about 70 downloads on SS) - why not stick there ? My guess is Mostphotos will grow and sell.

I don't know Sharpshot. I bailed due to the ratings and lack of sales. But I also contend they are in the top tier of "most promising" among the new sites. Rinder really likes them, and he is always worth listening to.
It's a tough call.
Besides the ratings and sales, I also think they need to clean up the database of the overt nudity shots that obviously have little to do with stock. It just makes them look bad, and image is everything when you are trying to build brand awareness.
I'm also concerned about the total lack of reviews. Yes, it's nice to have a democratic process and allow buyers to decide which images are worth buying, rather than put the reviewers in the middle. But the flip side is the database is going to grow, and grow. Especially if they become successful. At what point does the free democracy start to overwhelm with crappy images the ability for buyers to find what they want? That's a tough call too. One they will have to make eventually.

He is worth listening to but I remember he really liked Lucky Oliver at one time, as I did. His opinion can change very quickly, I like that. I believe this is going to happen with mostphotos unless they start advertising quickly. Sales can seem good there at first but mine have stopped. Do I want to see 0.00 euro in my account for another month? I am having BME's on other sites and perhaps it is time to concentrate on them. If I get a few sales this month, I will change my mind but I am heading for the exit door at the moment.

I think you should ask that question at a later date sharpshoot! The site is still quite new and I wouldn’t like to see it condemned at this stage it needs experienced members. The site is quite innovative – maybe not always in the way we would like – and I think the owners are listening. If it does succeed it could change things for the better. Stick around for a while and give them more time.
