Were thrilled to announce the launch of Imagesyard, a Royalty-free stock website packed with information and features that we hope you will find useful and you wanting to come back for more!

So if you are a great photographer, please consider sharing some tasty snaps. We need all of your support to make it as an amazing resource.

Photographer's can earn 50% of the nett proceeds from each photo downloaded.

If a buyer or seller signs up then an affiliate gets 10% commission from all orders of the buyer or sales of the seller.

The system supports automated EXIF/IPTC data retrieval. Photographer's can use software programs to edit the EXIF/IPTC data before submitting it.

Our team is working everyday to implement new features and enhance our website to be more effective and user friendly.

We invite you to visit newbielink:http://www.imagesyard.com [nonactive] and let us know your valuable feedback and comments.

We hope you will enjoy our new site

When I clicked on the "Photographer Tutorial" link, This was on the site (emphasis mine):

"The basic requirements of a good photographer are creativity, efficiency, talent and patience. By contributing your photos to Depositphotos, you are actually presenting your creative work to millions of image buyers around the world. You can become a contributor easily if you follow the simple set of guidelines given in our tutorial."

So what's the connection with DP?

Do you have a marketing strategy that can capture a decent share of the market?

You wouldn't by any chance have cobbled this together in a hurry just grabbing stuff from other sites and dropping it in, would you?

I mean, this info for photographers that I've just pasted from your site could have come from somewhere else....

4$ for the largest size? For a new site without buyers?
Does not sound appealing.

Come back when you can tell us how you want to attract buyers, and it better not be via undercutting the competition...

what is this?
I always check the new sites with a search on "butterfly". But here it retrieved NONE. So I thought I would try "woman". There was also NONE.

If so. This is not a serious attempt.

I will let you distribute  1000 images via imageyard for 1 year, if you pay me 5000 dollars.

Despite the discouragements and bad words from some members here, I wish the best for u.

Btw, I like the way yr website is set up. It look so much like Istock and look very organised and clean. Look very fitting for my artworks.

Maybe you may want to reconsider the price for the contributors here. Most contributors including me are looking for fair deals in order to join New agency. Perhaps you may want to look at CLipartof on their pricing and commission for contributors.

All the best!

Will that be in the state of confusion?

No, that would be the "Land of confusion". Be careful not to confuse the two!

You're trying to start a new agency with no apparent strategy to differentiate yourself from the many existing agencies already out there. You have no content - and I can't even browse the 6 images it says contributor  imagesyard has without creating an account. Every other agency lets you browse without creating an account.

I would not upload my portfolio to your site as you don't really appear to have a handle on what you need to do to succeed. Our intellectual property is valuable; any of us who've been doing this for more than 5 minutes are not just going to hand it over to someone who has cobbled together - but apparently not proofread - a web site and posted here to call this "Exciting"

Perhaps you'd like to elaborate here on your plans to compete with the existing agencies?

My son took a picture of my right big toe this afternoon with his instant camera. I immediately encouraged him to start a new Royalty Free Stock Website and invite the best of the best Stock photographers to join him (but in the alternative anyone who can take snaps will do).

He has a target market:
Anyone interested in toes for whatever reason.
He will offer 70% commission - the highest in the industry attracting the top contributors who will (obviously automatically) bring along the top buyers.

I assured him that he now has a 5000% better chance of making a huge success of it than any of the &^%$% I saw being dished up here lately as newby sites!

You have a nice design.. it looks like the site is built on CMSaccount though.. not a bad thing for a personal site but could be an indicator of the size of budget

good start, at least you have started a website which with stock agencies features... many of us who doesn't have a knowledge to do it yet.

I love that song. Never saw video though...pretty freaky.

I like the front-page style of the website. Very nice.

I agree, I laughed at first, but it is a nice site indeed. Too bad there are no images to be found.

i also have a thought of learning to build a website, even using the cms account or whatever tool, and make it able for others to join..and maybe i can learn more and manage it as stock agency.

At least you have come to a stage that make a site workable and people can join as a stock agency. At least you have done something i didn't able to do it..

But an agencies that can sell is more than a website, like you need to have working connection with designers or buyers.. someone to answer the call, someone to do things as usual company.

That is why most of us will not start a website. Now only to convince every one else who does know how to do that little part, not to start their own website, as that is by far not all you need to know.....   :-X
