I just had my first sale at Paxxion. EUR 5.00 minus PayPal fee. Still it adds up to more than USD 6. It's impossible to say what the future brings on the basis of only one sale of course, but it does mean that they have at least one customer   :D

they have at least two clients  ;)

I've had 2 sales already for 2 diferent guys.
I've also noticed that they both are Italians. One of them sent me the ad were my image was beeing used. was a very nice gesture as all of us always like to see our work in action.
This one was a bridge pic as a background on a Motorcycle clothes ad.

Edited: Actually today got a new sale. So far I'm counting 3.

I only got one....  Also from an Italian buyer.  In images with less than 20 keywords (not very common to me...) I was able to add keywords in Italian, so it helps (but it was not the case with the image I sold).

Adelaide

With very few exceptions, I've priced all my photos to at least EUR 5. There's not really any reason to go lower. If buyers want a high res photo at IS, they have to pay that much anyway, and this is a local site in a local language, something that means added value for many buyers.

Epixx,

Are you keywording your imges in Italian? If not, the search in Italian is not going to find them (this is a furture implementation they're still working at).

No, it's in English. I didn't know that. I have to look into it. I'm just uploading some Italian images there. At least the names there are in both languages.

If you have less than 20 keywords in English, you can add the remaining ones in Italian.  If you use FTP though, I think it's not possible to use keywords in both languages in IPTC data, as the file submission requires choosing one language.

This year I had two sales, both in May.  Before that, one in November, I think.

Site admin said they're implementing new features.

Adelaide
