Hey, I was wondering if anyone else has been experiencing an unusually high level of rejections at Graphic Leftovers. I've been submitting there for a few months and used to have a pretty high acceptance rate, around 80%. Now it's completely reversed. The last couple of batches only very few were accepted. Same submissions getting i nat top and middle tier sites.

Just wondering if it's just me....

Ihave kept up with that thread and just reviewed it incase I missed something. I try and submit diverse pics and I don't shoot people anyway. Just wondering if others are experiencing the sudden change.

Hi all...I hope everyone had a good holiday!

@ibogdan - We've been cleaning up our library recently due to copyright infringement issues and we are trying to weed out similar images in portfolios so the collection is more unique. That is why we have been rejecting more images than usual lately. I'm sorry you haven't sold much yet.

Also, the GL Collection is a section for images that we feel are exceptionally well done. They are hand picked by us.

Just a look at the recently added section shows they are seriously upping their standards. If you go to the very last pages, it's a lot of junk.

Have you seen the latest message they have put up for contributors? Looks as though they are capping daily uploads to 50. This is not a problem for me (I wish I had the time to take 50 photos a day!) but I guess it will be a pain for you more established guys uploaded your existing portfolios.

Yea, I just saw that today. Doesn't affect me, I'm lucky if I submit 50 a week! ::). They must be getting slammed with submissions.

From the site - you can upload as many as you want, but only 40 a day will go to reviewers

"The GL Review team is overwhelmed with new and existing Seller submissions, which unfortunately has slowed down approval times. Some Sellers upload 3-5 images a day while others upload hundreds and even thousands at a timecreating quite a traffic jam.

To keep our speedy review process, we are going to limit daily image reviews to 40 per day, per contributor. We have introduced a new area called queued images. This area will keep all your submitted images. You can upload as many images as you like, but only 40 images will appear in the reviewers pending area each day. For example, if you upload 200 images today, 40 images will go to the review team and the other 160 will go to queued area. The next day, 40 more images will be released to the review team and so on until all 200 images have been reviewed.

This new system will create a fair and speedy review process so that everyone can get their images approved and online."

2 rejections so far - one for similars , one for a shot requiring MR . A third of my images are in their "collection" , 900 views / 0 sales . Actually browsing in that collection and still can't find a photo with at least 1 download

Too bad their name is "leftovers", the name doesn't sound like premium quality to me..

Yea, but with 50% commission, it's worth a shot.

BTW is their image upload still as cumbersome as before? I recall I had to insert the image file size in pixels etc. ?

It is the EASIEST out of any of them. If you already keyword in Photoshop, or whatever you use, you upload and your done. No categories or anything. It goes into the pending and approved or not within a day and nothing left to do.
