Just got this. Sorry I won't waste my time commenting further.
Hi lou ,
My name is Noah and I am the marketing manager here at AudioMicro. We currently specialize in stock music and sound effects sales and licensing. Over the course of the past 2+ years we have built a very successful business in this market and have just begun development on a new site for stock photos.
We love your work so just wanted to reach out to see if you would have any interest in contributing to the new site/platform? We will handle all of the ingest/uploading of your images and pay out directly to paypal once live.
The site is currently under full steam development and we expect to be in operation and ready to sell stock photos by February.
We have a vast amount of experience in SEO, developing web traffic etc,
and are confident that if we get some great contributors we will build a very successful stock photos site.
Let me know your thoughts/if you would be interested in contributing to a new stock photo site, and at any rate thanks a bunch for taking the time to read this. I hope all is well for you and yours.
Cheers,
NB

Tell them to piss-off and in blindness!

I'll ask one of my hot models to fart thru a walkie-talkie for them

I guess the accumulation of new content for these sites is important. But as a buyer I would wonder why the "sell your audio" button comes before the "buy audio" button. it shows a lack of understanding of what should be happening in my opinion.

I'd be more worried if they didn't want my work ;D
Best,
Jonathan

You got a point there, Jonathan.
However, with any new stock site they often address us directly (as you probably MUST know anyway), telling us that they really LOVE our stuff.
It does sound special but not anymore once we read about it on the forums and see that many of our images are being loved by any given new stock site... :P

There are leaders and there are followers and then there are the begrudgers and dreamers and the somewhere in betweens. Don't crticize these ppl for trying. Ok so anohter new site so what! At least they are doing something instad of sitting around waffling all day. I like this fact that they try!

Personally, I welcome every new stocksite and think that we should support at least the promising ones.
When we never accept new sites the old ones will continue without reasonable competition and thus the existing ones will continue to treat us like crap.
Every new approach is a new chance, and yes, I agree that some sites are not worth to be supported, but rejecting them just because it`s "another one" is certainly not constructive.

I have submitted a few simple audio files on this site, had a couple downloads,
and like the way they keep the site going. This business is tough to break into,
and though we've been burned too often, a few uploads can't hurt.

Sure, but it's a perception thing. As a buyer, you know right away, that this site has a smaller selection of toasters and blenders. Why stay?

But it's more fun to be grumpy. ;D
