Title: Isignstock becomes SignElements
Post by: Lotti on June 12, 2012, 11:48
Hi All,

As I’m sure some of you’ve already noticed we’ve just moved to SignElements.com

As the company expanded its remit, into exciting new areas and partnerships, we felt it was appropriate to re-think the brand identity, beginning with a new name …
We believe SignElements will steer us in the right direction, setting ourselves aside from other stock agencies with our unique focus on the sign industry. The name change will be accompanied by a sound new layout updated in two stages, the first which went live earlier today.

There will be no hassle for our contributors as you’ll be redirected to signelements.com automatically, and your login details remain the same. Of course we’ve also transferred your contributor area with all features and personal history.

Until the final facelift, have a look at the new watermark here: http://www.facebook.com/photo.php?fbid=312890945462096&set=a.166168220134370.43323.150231388394720&type=1&theater (http://www.facebook.com/photo.php?fbid=312890945462096&set=a.166168220134370.43323.150231388394720&type=1&theater)
– we hope you like it!

Thank you Lotti, the new watermark looks great and give adequate protection for silhouettes, which is very rare but very necessary.  :-*

Saw some of the site changes, looking forward to the second part coming, as it certainly has some flaws and bugs.

but nice to see views re-instated.

oh, and just a minor thing - your favicon is almost identical to Superhugs! No biggie, just something I noticed.

one of the worst contributor user interface, there is no way to check the total balance you can request, no idea what had been downloaded.

Any word guys on when the second phase of the site update will happen?

Before the end of the summer the second phase of the layout update will be live.

We're also working on some changes to the contributor interface, which I hope will be implemented within a few weeks now.

I'll keep you posted.

Best,
Lotti

Hello everyone,

You may have noticed that the contributor area has recently had a little facelift. Here is some information on the changes:

When reviewing we normally leave any images which need model releases pending so you can assign one if it’s available. To improve this procedure you can now filter images in the Release Manager to view only those that are waiting review. There is also a new “Select all” feature to quicken up the whole process of assigning releases.

Along with this we have extended the royalties page so that you can now see an outstanding balance since last pay-out. Email notifications are now being sent for pay-out requests.

All feedback is welcome,

Lotti

Hi Lotti,

After reading your post, I thought of uploading some more images. But when I checked my images on signelements.com and I've found that there is no watermark at all. I'm not happy and I really think of closing my account, to be honest. >:( I don't like an idea to give my images for free even in a small size. I would be happy to hear some explanations, please...

P.S. I've attached a screenshot of my image without a watermark on signelements.com to this post.

Noticed the improvement on the outstanding balance part. No more self calculation and figuring out when you last requested payout. That is already a huge improvement, that you.

Can not wait for the biggest improvement to come - To be able to see which images sold and at what price.  ;)

I'm furious it's happening again. Watermark is just gone completely for all images.
And I've checked it's only happening on the Google Chrome. Watermark is all right on the IE, and Opera.

And now I can understand why I had no sales for the August, and not only me.

I want some explanation  >:(

I've just check it now and it's solved. The watermark is back now for all browsers.

When you've logged in than all watermarks have gone.
It's a ridiculous bug.

Hi everyone,

We’re sorry about the technical issue with the August royalties, just as Charl mentions, it was sorted on Monday and it shouldn’t happen again.

Thanks for the feedback on the watermark situation. We’ve made the necessary changes and there is now a permanent watermark on SignElements, whether logged in or not.

Let me know if any questions,
Lotti

Yes. You have to email them with the request and if approved they will open a folder for you with the settings to access it.

Short answer: no.

Longer answer: we get a report on a month's income at the beginning of the following month.  And no report on what sold.  Strange.
