Title: Isignstock
Post by: steheap on October 07, 2011, 09:33
Isignstock gets a few mentions on the forum, but I've been very impressed with it and my earnings recently. I see that they have introduced an affiliate program now, which pays 5% of the royalties earned by contributors. I wrote a review of the site this morning http://www.backyardsilver.com/2011/10/isignstock-worth-considering-as-your-next-stock-site/ (http://www.backyardsilver.com/2011/10/isignstock-worth-considering-as-your-next-stock-site/), and the bottom line is that it is an easy site to upload to, their acceptance levels are high, my earnings on 2400 images have been a steady $35 a month for the past three months now, and the payout process works! What more can you want!

If you have your workflow processes working smoothly, Isignstock may be a new site worth considering.

My referral link is http://www.isignstock.com?urefid=IMSUSER:E45F5559-19B9-EAA4-10746D0445079351 (http://www.isignstock.com?urefid=IMSUSER:E45F5559-19B9-EAA4-10746D0445079351) if you want to use it. Otherwise, just search for Isignstock.

Steve

I agree on all their good points, but they are by no means a new site. Have been around as a company for  many years. They still have to go far to get their contributor interface user friendly (have made a number of very useful changes lately) and lack vital sales information (number of images sold, which and at what price).

They are stable and are working hard on improvements and have very friendly and helpful staff. Have been with them for a number of months now and are very happy with their performance. They have my vote and support.

You can find their microstockgroup reference in the low earners links on the right of your screen where it has been for a VERY long time steheap.

have a few pics there but the all site is weird, I hate the fact that we dont know how many sales and which photos, but only a total per month..

Not knowing whether I sold 1 picture for £50, or 50 pictures for £1 is weird.
Anyway, looks like a trusted company and sales are good for a new/minor site.
I'm happy with them.

Just had an email about the referral scheme, seems quite good.  This link is a bit long but I would appreciate anyone that's thinking of signing up clicking on it :)

Thanks, Steve. I might give them a try since they're vector-friendly. I'll use your referral link.

Thanks Helix7!

As far as "new" went, I really meant to say that if you have uploaded to the main sites and are looking for a "new" site to consider, then this is one to add to the list.

Sorry for confusion!

Steve

So far, couple of things I like and some I don't. The site seems easy to navigate, for both buyers and contributors. I like how easy it was to sign up and get started uploading. But I hate the "no JPG preview for vector files" rule. Auto-generating the preview directly from the EPS file always make the colors get all screwed up. BigStock used to do that and thankfully added the JPG preview option.

I uploaded this image (http://www.shutterstock.com/cat.mhtml?gallery_id=95809#id=77129497) and on isignstock, it just looks like a white shape over a black background. The grays get completely muddied up and darkened to black.

I'm going to contact isignstock to see if there's any optional way to create the vector previews, because this method is really bad.

is there a reason that there is no a user interface that shows what images had been downloaded at what price?

there is no 1 other agency that provide no sales data. It seems not usual, are isignstock plan to implement it?

Regarding the issue I brought up last week with EPS previews, I contacted isignstock and Johnnie got back to me. He just emailed me yesterday to let me know that he talked to their IT folks and they are working on a solution.

So as it relates to sales data, I think if we were to ask them to provide such information, they'd at least be willing to talk about it. They seem like a very responsive company when it comes to contributor requests and concerns.

Hi Luis,

Non-exclusive contributors like yourself receive 30%.

Have a great weekend,
Johnnie

Good to see some of you have been getting familiar with the affiliate program!

Just couldn’t help to notice that the links you’ve published here are all to the iSignStock landing page. So, I just wanted to draw your attention to the opportunity for you all to promote your individual portfolios!

To do this just log into www.isignstock.com (http://www.isignstock.com) and generate a new referral link in the Affiliate Tools-area, but make sure the “select target”-option is set to “Link banner to my portfolio” as opposed to the website.

A little tip!

Best,
Lotti, iSignStock
