I don't think this is the right area but...

Found my images on this site, perhaps a FT reseller?

Yup it must be - I found one of my own and it states the copyright holder is "TAJ" - the only place where I have my initials as a nickname is on Fotolia

quick comparisson shows identical images FT and this place... In fact the same images that were irrelevant to the category.  After wading thru 80 pages of irrelevant stuff, I did not find my top seller at FT there, however there were hundreds of pages to go.
If I were a buyer, I'd be totally ticked at having to spend so much time looking a nonsense that was not applicable to my search.
"Living room"...    turns up a gray cat closeup, torso shot of woman in bra holding a laptop, closeup of man with headsets on....and pages and pages of other shots that had nothing to do with the search.... WTH?

This thread goes back to an active one last week about how many places our pix are being spread out to without our knowledge!!  And in that thread the letters FT kept turning up again and again.  Just how many 'partners' do they have? ANYONE KNOW?
I'd go on and search FT myself, except I haven't been able to access my account for several weeks now and get no help from support......
totally ticked in New Jersey >:(=tom

Also found a few of mine there.
Maybe FT can come on and explain if it is related to them.

I sent FT a message about this site.  It is a pity they don't make a list of resellers available.

The name sounds like the verbal approximation of every persons butchered attempt to pronounce my last name in my life. :)

This is not good!!!

This is a Chinese site with same portfolios at Fotolia. (I used the google translator to navigate through the site.)

We must do something NOW!  As in Fotolia they offer a sample comp, but their samples are kind of big and no watermark at all!!!

I think I should close my account at Fotolia.  What do you think?

It is definetely a Fotolia's reseller.

If you remove an image from Fotolia, it is automatically removed from this Tuwemei site.

As I said before what pisses me off is the free sample comp they offer with no watermark at all.

Enough of Fotolia!  Time to close my account.

FT's reply:

Yes, the following site is part of our API Reseller program. Unfortunatelly we don't have that feature on the site for the moment. But you can always ask us.

(the feature is a list of resellers)

At least if someone spells Zymmetrical with only one  "M" it's not a porn site. (it's a Discounted Novelties site, I'll save people the effort of looking. They sell Groucho glasses, rubber chickens, and that kind of thing.)  ;D

I do recall getting one support email many moons ago, about 6 months after we started in beta, with a customer inquiring about their "rastafarian wig and fake dog poop" order.  I think that moment of insanity is what led me to investigate, and ultimately discover the "zymetrical" site.

Coincidentally enough, the owner of the site has a sense of humor (imagine that) and thought it was kind of cool, he blogged about his discovery of us. Hopefully when he get's stock photo inquiries he sends them on to us, I know we dutifully forward the fake dog poop customers right back onto their site. ;)

All I can say is thank god for hyperlinks. Maybe i'm just a sucker for punishment: having to spell out my last name my whole life, now with a business brand that is not exactly abc123.com.

I am living in Beijing. To be honest, China is high fraud and illegal copy area and has many stock companies by now. Due to we dont believe any Chinese stock company and agent, so we choice selling our photos via Fotolia.

If FT keep cooperating and reselling via China Stock Company, I know the risk of selling photos in China and I  have to choose quit from Fotolia before illegal copy happen. Finally, our photos will be lost control from Partner Reseller

Beware Tuwemei!!!

I regret I ever started uploading my images to Fotolia.   Tuwemei was the reason why I finally decided to remove all my images from Fotolia and have my account closed.

I discovered that even after an image has been removed from Fotolia, Tuwemei keeps displaying it.   I copied some URLs of my images in Tuwemei, removed the images from Fotolia and found out  that Tuwemei only removed them from the portfolio but still keeps displaying them individually.

After that,  I removed all my images from Fotolia and aske them to close my account.  But even today Tuwemei keeps displaying my images.

I have already contacted Fotolia, but after two weeks and many requests, only one image was removed.   It seems they have no control on what resellers do.

I wished I had never used Fotolia

This worries me. I have done exactly the same thing. i.e. bookmarked URL of deleted images, and yes they still show up on the site! Other than put constant pressure on Fotolia to sort it, I am at a loss what to do about it ???
