I had my first sale at Mostphotos today!  ;D And I have seen in the site forum that others have started to sell pictures too. It looks like the marketing campaign have started to pay off. They are offering the customers "buy 2 pay for 1" this month also.

What strikes me is that the picture I sold was a classic "cheap microstock picture".
Two paintbrushes on white background. Nothing special about it, and not very good lit either to be honest.
The picture sold at the standard RF price 12,50 euro which is about
17, 50 USD. That gives me almost 9 dollars in the pocket.
Feels pretty good compared to a 0,25 dollar commission.
I really hope this is the start of a trend and the site takes off.

I sure will try my best to make it happen by promoting it to everyone.  ;D

I registered there today, but where do I upload my photos? Can't find it anywhere on the site.

It's in the top meny. Go to Portfolio -> upload images
You can choose HTML-upload, Multiupload or FTP.
I recommend FTP if you have larger batches.
The image tagging is fast and pretty effortless if you already have set keywords and categories.

Moori, does the FTP bring over the IPTC data (the keywording, description, name)?

Yes it reads IPTC, and it works fine. The only thing you need to do once you've imported the pictures from the FTP is to set one category for the picture and also what folder (optional) you want them to end up in. (You can divide your own portfolio into subfolders if you like. Flowers, people, landscapes etc)
