Today I have seen that I have had a new sale on Zoonar, the first for me on this site where I have begun to upload few months ago.
Good sale for 14 . Thank you Zoonar!

But I dont understand the date: 1-08-2016

If it is the german format (dd-mm-yyyy) it should be 1 august 2016 but we are in July.
If they used the american format (mm-dd-yyyy) it is January the 8th but why a sale from January is reported only today?

And why all these sites with international customers and international contributors dont use the international date format yyyy-mm-dd?

Yes, sites like Panthermedia use two different formats, even in the same page It's a mess!

It can only be January since August is yet to come. You cannot sell a file in the future.

There are a few things more confusing in this world than the american way of writing dates.

it's either dummy (d-m-y) or monday (m-d-y)
but like alessandra said, it has to be back-dated january,
as you cannot sell anything in the future.
or maybe zoonar could, LOL

14 euro for a single download, and that's your commission is it? that's a good sale . congrats

Yes of course - but according to the german date format it is August :D :D

By the way I don't understand why sites do not respect the international date format. Is is so difficult?
Why a german site should use the american format, then?
At the limit it could use the german format, but why to use the american one?

In 1988, so it is not so new, the ISO has defined the international date format yyyy mm dd, so why simply don't use it?

So Zoonar report the sales 7 months later?
Is it always like this?

The answer from Zoonar:

"it was a sale through DDP Images - they book always with the date of the first of the next month!"

So it is 1st August 2016!  :P

Hello,
I withdrew 64,78 EUR from Zoonar and received just 54,53 EUR with
Fee-negative 2,20 EUR so 52,33 EUR total in my Paypal.
I wrote to them but no answer till now.
So some 15% tax. Is there any tax form I should fill and send?
Thank you!

After you filled the for where did you send it? By mail to Germany or by e-mail?

to be honest as my sales were so small and it was a very complex form I didn't bother :-). I suggest you ask Zoonar I have only exchanged emails a couple of times but they seem friendly and approachable
