Yes and the last message there was one month ago, asking why no images were reviewed since last December. The site owner asked two months ago to hold off any uploads since he was making a new "media service", whatever that might be. I uploaded a bunch last August-September (with a lot of effort since there is no MRF module) and had 2$ sales around that time. Nothing since. Time to quit?

My guess would be, no too many folks care one way or the other what happens there anymore.  :)

That's odd they have 39 of my pictures but I never opened an account there. My guess is that they partner with someone but I don't get why I have only 39 there???
type your name+pixamba to find out if you are there

maybe partners are able to manually choose which images are used .. I don't know .. did you double check the image info to make sure you were listed as the author to make sure it wasn't somebody uploading your work as their own?

1) panthermedia = pixamba

2) http://www.stockphototalk.com/the_stock_photo_industry_/2007/10/panthermedia_ag.html (http://www.stockphototalk.com/the_stock_photo_industry_/2007/10/panthermedia_ag.html)

This critical partnership that has taken some time to finalize in order to reach a very clear understanding between both companies which will enable a substantial part of more than 500.000 edited royalty-free images that PantherMedia will make available for licensing within the easyFotostock LBRF model.

The THP was introduced six years ago and has now evolved into a community of over 50 distributors, 243 RF and RM image collections and over 1,300 photographers, combining to form an impressive database of around 6 million high resolution files residing on age fotostock servers located in Barcelona, Spain, and New York.

Mark it up to redistribution and a tangled web of licensing to sub-agencies and outlets.

If you meant mine, it's because #1 is that Panther has licensed images through Pixamba and

#2 Panther has also licensed images through another distributor system.

If you are wondering why photos that you haven't uploaded to a site are showing up for sale, start with Panther as the source. There are so many it's not worth cut and paste to list them all. HUGE!

Maybe you thought I was just making the partners part up for Panther, so here's a link for you. Happy reading!  ;)

I know it was kind of vague and no attribution. Now it's here and the next time it comes up, we have a link.  :)

This is a reoccurring question and with that long list I can see why.
