Where do they get the money to pay us?  I'm not interested in sites like this anymore, I want sales.  I have been paid to upload a few times and my portfolio just sites there for a year with hardly any sales.

I did a quick search and wasn't impressed.  They shouldn't be selling this one as RF, it's a trademark.

I read something like there are 3 levels of photographers that received different commissions.

http://www.viscoimages.com/page/artist_agreement/

it seems that everyone starts as level 1? or the reviewer decides it? can we move up to higher level?

the uploading bonus is the lowest $0.15.. $0.25 for images with model release.

Visco Images uses 3 different qualification levels for the contributors that give opportunity for the best photographers/artists to submit more images at a time by using FTP upload process and earn even more money. The qualification process starts immediately right after you have completed your first submission. During this process our expert will analyze your image quality and your skills in needed programs such as Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator or so on depending on the type of images you provide. You will receive e-mail confirmation when your qualification is done.

YES the reviewers decide

Who owns the big sack of cash they are handing out money from?

^^^That's what I would like to know.  I can't believe any business person would invest in a new microstock site.  If there's someone giving away money, we could start our own site.

They might think they can make money by people never reaching the payout level but with running costs, I can't see that being very profitable.  I just don't see how a new site that looks like so many others that haven't worked can pay for us to upload, market the site and hope to make any money.  So unless they can come here and tell me what's special about this one, I'm not interested.

They already have 7273 images online. This could very well become one of the big ones.  ;D

looks like a bit of an arcane way of telling what your royalties would be and a multi level marketing scheme for the referrals.

That's cool that they can tell how well I know my way around photoshop by looking at an image - or maybe it isn't photoshopped at all and I know my way around a camera?

I would like to see more transparency on how much you would get per sale of various image sizes if you were in the lowest group (because that is where they will probably stick the majority), what are the usages allowed etc. etc.

a one year lock in seems rather long for .15 - especially if they reserve the right to tweak royalties and costs and everything else (like most sites seem to these days).

Maybe this information is in there somewhere, but I didn't see it with a quick look. EG how much does a 4 MP image cost the buyer and how much would I get for that sale?

excuse me for being skeptical, but I am.

That's how LO survived. I was stuck halfway payout when they closed doors. You didn't get cash but could convert it to sales credits which was in fact monopoly-money. A more dirty trick was played by FotoMind that credited me 75$ for upload with a payout limit of 100$. When I was nearing the payout limit after a couple of years, the *insult removed* closed doors and didn't even pay a red herring, spilling my email address around.

The right way to install an upload premium is how DP and Veer did it. For at least 500 images accepted, the upload premium was way over the payout limit. An upload premium for a decent number of accepted images (500 or more) should be payed immediately or it's just monopoly money.

so is there a way we advance to a higher levels?

and i read the instant cash saying something like one can request payment $30-50 depends on your level.. but faq is minimum $100?

$0.15 is the lowest payments ever for uploading if i remember it correctly.

Can't find the upload buttons, and the 'support' page that one can submit message is not working..

Seems to me no response to e-mail....no response to concerns voiced on here....I'd say run the other way. That's all I have to say.

I've got 19 images approved 20 more waiting for review. At .15  a shot your not going to make much before the time deadline. I don't know if it's going to be worth the effort. I'll hold off for now from uploading until i see some effort from them.

14 photos accepted on 15 yesterday but always on level 1.

The only photo rejected was an exclusive one with MR ( 5$ / upload , is it a coincidence ?)

So if it's not possible to submit more than 20 photos a day, I wonder if it worth the effort...

http://www.viscoimages.com/spage/view/Visco-Images-pays-instant-cash-for-your-images

it seems they had updated the contents stating one can get paid $30-$50..

But I would like them to increase the instant cash, $0.15 is what they pay, and they are using levels on photographers, and the image has to be with them for one year.

I browse around and don't really see any downloads on most images, and i happened to see some images like showing woman private parts, and i remember the first time i visited the sites 2 months ago? i saw many images of same naked woman posing on rock or seaside. I didn't even think of joining after seeing those kind of images, i am not against who had posted it, but what kind of buyers they are looking for?

If they happened to close down in 1 year, do we get paid for the remaining even we didn't reach the payout?

I doubt anyone that doesn't reach the payout level would get paid.  And the chances of them failing must be very high, if they are paying people to upload and I can't see any reason why buyers would want to use them.  That's why I'm not even considering this one, there's alarm bells ringing.  Why are they paying for uploads when new sites that don't have anything special to offer don't make any money?

I'm kind of skeptical, that's why I stopped uploading until I see some positive effort on their part.
