FAA. I've had some pics there for ages, sold 3 times, not for huge sums. But FAA used to be ART. Now they sell shower curtains. So no longer sure what to upload there, and actually doing so is a right royal PIA.

Yes, FAA seems to want to become the next Zazzle.  They have a big problem: no inspection or curation, so they have 10s of millions of photos that will never sell as "wall art".  So they've created a new domain - Pixels.com - and are pushing shower curtains, coffee mugs, round beach towels and the rest of that rubbish.  But the FineArtAmerica.com domain will remain, and you don't have to enable the tote bags, and they won't show up on your FAA pages.

Uploading a single image works fine, they read the title and keywords.  Uploading multiple images often fails, and this has been going on for a long time.

Better idea is to setup your free photography website here http://shutterforge.com/. It's already setup to sell your work.

Well that looks interesting, actually.  Although they do no marketing of their own, have no keyword search, so no one is going to find you there except maybe by Google search.  They do claim to be properly SEO optimized.

I sell prints on FAA and there are some things seriously wrong there.  Shutterforge might be a nice addition.

I have tried FAA but have sold nothing. It seems you need to do a lot of self promotion. Do you do any marketing for your images? Is it possible to sell without it?

No, I don't have any marketing for my images yet. Not sure if it's possible to sell without it

It's certainly possible, but for me not in big numbers (I don't market*).
The market is mostly in the US, *the pricing is seriously uncompetitive in the UK, even if I put 0 for myself, the prices would be high by our standards. I haven't sold anything other than small things (single cards, phone covers) outwith the US, and since PP eats up a lot of small value sales (if that's all you get in a month), I may remove small-value items fairly soon, as raising the prices to be viable has resulted in a complete dearth of these sales.
