I was doing ok at vectorstock but had to stop uploading. Just couldn't get them to work on the pricing. They were receptive to some specific image price changes but ultimately they just weren't interested in a real conversation about overall price points.

I just don't get the logic behind the $1 and $3 stuff. They could start pricing at $5 and still be cheaper than anywhere else.

vectorstock began to run through well with a portfolio of more than 1,000 vectors, but then sales down, it is true, earnings are very low per image  :-\

123RF and Bigstock are not really low earners for me. Of the sites which are 'Low Earners' in the Microstock Poll Results, CanStockPhoto is by far the best for me, although sales there were way down last month and, like sales at Veer, GL and CC, have been down since the Google image search change.  :'(

As for VS, I would like to put my whole port up there but I agree, prices are too low.

For me the best of the low would be Dreamstime, 123RF, Canstock, Deposit Photos and Bigstock.
But aren't the best of the low actually middle tier earners? The lowest of the low are Graphic Leftovers and Stockfresh.

Vectorstock is just bad news for all vector artists.

Boy I agree with you all about VS too bad, that domain name is killer ;)

I am in the process of joining ToonVector as they offer a fantastic compensation plan! And for buyers no credits, or min top ups just 1 or more vectors to your cart n buy :)

I am looking to encourage good n fair business practices.
