I am a citizen of EU country living in Romania and I am trying to fill the w-8ben form an I was wondering if anyone can help me with some clarifications:
- I am an individual and I need to fill the w-8ben
- In part II Claim of Tax Treaty Benefits -10 Special rates and conditions (if applicable—see instructions): The beneficial owner is claiming the provisions of Article of the treaty identified on line 9 above to claim a % rate of withholding on (specify type of income):
1.do i need to fill this claim of tax treaty ? I am asking because when i filled the form on shutterstock it was filled automatic with the article of my country and a 10% rate of withholding on both video and pictures.
so should I fill the Adobe Stock form to be exactly as the one at shutterstock ?
2. I am not able to claim the money yet because I am a noob and i have not earned a lot so do I need to worry about filling the tax form yet ? I mean if I don`t request a payment am I still charged with the tax withholding ?
3. I have already submitted the form on Adobe Stock but I see I can`t modify it I can only resubmit ???
