Anyone use or know where to get a Universal Model Release Form for all agencies?
I find it a bit frustrating having to get a model to sign a release form for every agency I submit photo's to. I've tried using one I found, which I altered to suite all agencies needs, however they decline asking for a signed copy of their own releases.
I know big shot companies like Yuri Arcurs have their own universal release forms, but wondering if the agencies only except those because they're high end players.
Any idea's around this extra unnecessary paperwork?

The one from 123RF is pretty generic! You may go ahead and use ours.

Apart from Istock i've found everyone accepts the Dreamstime one

I still use Yuri's. I reformatted it a touch for aesthetics but it works fine, except for iS who insist on their own MR.

Thanks all for the responses :)
I see this is another topic why microstockers get annoyed with iStock's user interface :P

I use the Easy Release App on my iPhone/iPad and the MRs & PRs are accepted by all the agencies I upload to (eighteen).

actually I should have clarified that about iS, they insist on a MR for each shoot; for my family I have year long releases that everyone else accepts. Some agencies will also take releases that span a few days, but not iS. They do accept the generic release.

hahaha okay cool,
I guess the trick around that is to hope the model allows the dates on the release form to not be filled in for shoots done monthly or annually.
As long as I can actually use one standard release form for all agencies I'm quite happy.
Thanks again

Yes, Easy Release App is quite enough also for me! Exists both for iOS and Android. Accepted by many agencies.

Hi, I do not, but I saw a post by a nice lady, who said that she had made her own model release and it was accepted by all agencies (she was and maybe still is a very successful contributor). I contacted her and asked if she would be good enough to send me a copy and she did! I have since adapted this some more (made a space to add thumbnail of the image) and collated more ideas from the different sites.
You will need a model release, a slightly different one for minors, and one for property. I keep translations in French, Spanish, Italian and Catalan and give a copy to my model, but the signed one must go up in English (at least to the agencies I use).
I hope that helps.
Best wishes and good luck.
