If someone sees a photo either on the web and is recognized (Child or adult) can sue the photographer if it was sold as editorial use? .
I say it in general as who takes pictures in a competition or on the street and people leave

In most countries editorial usage allows anyone or anything to be photographed from public property.

However you would need to check any specific privacy laws in the country you are in

Though there's often privacy laws around photographing into private property from public property e.g long lens topless celeb shots.
