I run a photography training company in the UK teaching beginners how to use their camera - I love my job and love being a photographer.
I have looked at using my library of images for stock for a long time. The thing that puts me off is when I have tried it, the process of getting the photographs cleaned up, keyworded, titles etc added and then loaded onto the stock sites seems like a lot of work for not much return.
I think I must be doing something wrong, I would be keen to learn more about streamlining this process. Does anyone have any suggestions of resources I could access?
Thanks
Paul

No, I think you've discovered how microstock works :).

the process of getting the photographs cleaned up
Do that badly and they will be rejected.
keyworded, titles etc added
Do that badly and they won't be found.
and then loaded onto the stock sites seems like a lot of work for not much return.
Do that badly and they definitely won't be found.

Hi Paul
I had a go at documenting my approach to managing images and uploads. Hope this helps:
