Title: Good Sense of Humor Goes a Long Ways
Post by: tab62 on April 29, 2011, 15:22
Yes, I am very new and don't have to many pics in my portfolios but I just sold my 2nd pic on Fotolia and here is what my wife just said about my 2nd sale-  " Someone must have been drunk after the Prince's Wedding and made the purchase".  Gotta Love it! The pic was purchase at 10 pm so maybe she is right...

Don't it will happen (sale) when you least expect it! I do agree that you have to have min of 1,000 pics in your portfolio before you and really compare stats. I have only 190 thus a lot more pics to get into my portfolio. I am finding out as time goes on I laugh at my early pics - poor comp, lighting and concept. Thus with each month I am gaining leaps and bounds on this stock world. I have a lot to learn about lighting and composition thus open minded to all comments, articles, books and videos...

I'm not sure if anyone has mentioned the website Strobist for great lighting info. It's worth a look.
