Title: graphics tablet

Would the trust TB 7300 be better than the Bamboo Fun medium tablet? They are both at the same price range. What are people experiences?

Trust is crap. Wacom is the market leader!
And Wacom pens don't need batteries.

Intuos or nothing.  Don't waste your money on consumer grade stuff like the Bamboo

And yes, no batteries in the wacom pens

I have a wacom intuos  - a year or two old - wouldn't trade it for the world. Except maybe a bigger one... :) I only have a 4x6 - used to use a larger one at my old job, but I got used to the smaller size in no time at all. I'd suggest a wacom to anyone and everyone. No experience with the bamboo, but it doesn't seem to be any better than the older ones - so save some cash and buy older.

I agree with sticking to Wacom. I know some people who have been happy with the Bamboo, and if you are just starting out or aren't sure if you'll like it, you could do worse.

I would recommend against trying out the other brands.

I have a 6x8 Intuous 3 and I LOVE it. It has been dropped off my desk I don't know how many times but still keeps ticking after more than 2 years. I have tried the larger size but found it was just wasted space that I didn't really utilize in my style of drawing... and it was a huge real estate hog on my desk. If you use big sweeping strokes in your artwork, you may want to go with bigger, but if not, it's an unnecessary added expense.

The Intuous has programmable hot keys which can save you oodles of time. If there's any way you can swing it, it's well worth the extra cash.

I have the Cintiq 12WX at home. I have a Bamboo (black) for my internet pc. (Yes I even surf with a Wacom pen). And I have the Bamboo Fun for my laptop, suits fine with my white laptop!  ;D
Bamboo tablets are fine. They have more buttons than the old ones, 4 buttons. You can assign shortcuts to those buttons. And the scroll/zoom function is also nice.

I agree with others about Wacom. There are some pretty good deals out there on ebay. I got my Graphire 6x8 there. It has a BlueTooth interface so no cables involved as well.

I found this one right now, but I think I got mine for even cheaper:
