I am new to stock and photography, and I am confused with IS. I have multiple questions:

If they have not sorted out the issues with Oct/Nov reports can we expect a PP earnings report at the end of January?

Does anyone know what the "discrepancies" consist of?

Is there an easy way to see which pictures sold and when?
I belong to BS, SS, DS and 123rf. It is very easy to see what sold, when, and the amount sold for. I only have thirty dl's on IS so I can figure it out, but there has to be a more efficient way.

SS shows which keywords resulted in a sale. Do any of the other sites offer this info? Thank you in advance for your help!

There was one at the end of December, but that isn't necessarily a precedent.
They may decide to wait until they have announced who was affected and how they're going to claw back the money.

Yes, but they haven't told the plebs.
"wrong data" - perhaps they paid out 100% of earnings, or some other much higher percentage than you're supposed to get. Pure speculation on my part based on 'wrong data'.

For iStock, you get the info by going into MyUploads and sorting by 'Last DL'
For PP, I think I've read there is a script someone wrote. Read through the PP forum over there or maybe someone here knows.

Not at all stupid! No-one here knows what's going on there, except perhaps Pieman.

Not stupid questions at all!

Now to address most of your questions in a quick why with IS stuff-

Close your eyes - what do you see (nothing) that is what we all see with this company!

Don't confuse the amount sold for (which is often very hard to determine) and the amount we get for the sale - which is usually given to us.

DT sometimes tells us the search term used to find the images sold (as does SS - often they don't list any keywords for a sale).

As for IS - get used to the mushroom treatment if you are going to be there (kept in the dark and covered in sh$t)

I'm confused too.  One thing I find very confusing is that ALL of the accounting mistakes were always made in the contributors' favor and have to be clawed back.  Is that even statistically possible given all their screw-ups?

Surely somewhere along the line there were some mistakes in Istock's favor that we should be reimbursed for?  Maybe those just never came to light...  ???

I know of one, a few years ago!!

You'll be shocked, simply shocked, to hear that it took them forever to pay the money back AND that they miscalculated the amount owed...
