Post by: hroe on February 16, 2009, 09:35
Does someone know about a model release that every single agency will accept ???
Thanks!

Adult, minor, property, in Word format:

Adult:
http://flemishdreams.com/documents/modelrelease-adult-generic.doc (http://flemishdreams.com/documents/modelrelease-adult-generic.doc)

Accepted by all known stock agencies since 2006. The only problem I had was a witness name not in print. Fill in in print letters.

Since it's a Word document, you can easily enter your own info already and print it out like that.

Thank you very much :D
Now, do you usually need to give a copy to the model?

Yes, I give my models a copy of the release, since it acts as a contract und usually both partys of a contract should have one.

Bye, Robert

With all the changes at Istock I have switched to using the Getty generic release.  It is accepted by all sites.

For Istock, which now requires a new release for every shoot, I fill in the model's info in advance and keep it on file so all they have to do is sign.
