Title: istock application
Post by: suz7 on March 03, 2016, 03:52
Hi I am not really new but have had trouble getting accepted at istock.

It's partly my fault as I was a bit hasty submitting images each time.

I had two of the three accepted initially but the last one is proving difficult.

A couple of years ago I got all ten accepted for the submission process at shutterstock first time round so I assumed istock was the same.

I submitted my best sellers at shutterstock, for istock but they weren't accepted. I've waited a year and this time don't want to be rejected again.

Does anyone know what happens if you get rejected after waiting a year? Will I have to wait two years?!

Would someone be able to look at my shutterstock portfolio and give me an idea which would be suitable? I really have no idea what kind of image they would like.

Kind regards
Suz

your vectora are too simple for what istock wants. you would have more luck with photos

Try to submit the most complex vectors you have. That's your best chance of getting approved. Don't worry about what sells for the moment, just your vectors with the highest artistic value.

Even if you get accepted, you're going have a hard time getting many approvals with your vectors. I've had more complicated vectors rejected by iStock. They seem to have toughen up their review guidelines recently.
