Hello, I have been in microstock for a few months and I would like to improve my methodology. Currently I create my keywords through the application of shutterstock and the microstock itself.

What is the best software to create the labels ?. Is it better to put the 50 or be more selective ?. I would like to optimize this part of the work and create it in the correct way.

Thank you

I'm using imstocker keyworder service. It is like shutterstock tool, but can save keywords, title and description inside jpeg files - very useful when you upload to many agencies

Use the free keyword tool supplied on this site: http://microstockgroup.com/tools/keyword.php

Don't worry about 50 keywords just make them accurate and don't bother putting spam words in it only penalises your images in the search as customers will bypass your images.

So if 7 or 8 keywords work for your images then thats all you need.

what Sammy says. A few accurate keywords will have higher impact on your discoverability than lotsa generic words.

Halo, I am around 4 month on micro stock when started as vector contributor, I am doing almost 50 keyword per image, right now I just add very related keyword for my image. No relevant impact How many keyword added, but how relevant this keyword to your image. Good Luck...

People would be more able to advise you if you could show some examples of your work so that they could see the keywords.
(I usually have a lot fewer than 50 keywords on my images, but I sell photos, not vectors.)
