I have been selling microstock for a few months now and have a question for the experts. I have been having my models, (wife, son, daughters and grandkids) sign a new model release for each separate day I use their pictures. I notice that on some sites I only have to upload one model release for each person and can use it over and over, simply by clicking on their MR photo.
Am I doing this completely wrong. Should I only have one release on file at each site for each model?
Thanks Bob

I've been using the same releases for my family members for over 3 years now.

yep, if there is no specific day of shooting mentioned in your release then it can be reused. If it doesn't mention a specific agency etc it can be used for them all. so one release per person, uploaded to each site :)

Thank you guys for your help. This will make my life much easier from this point on. My family is getting tired of filling out paper work every time I take a photograph of them.
Thanks again, Bob

Newbie Question .. do you need different releases for different sites or is it normal to do one with a blank header for all Stock Sites .. whats the norm
Thanx Paul

I use IS's release and customized it for my business, so I can submit it to all of the agencies.

Somebody gave a template that is very close to IS model release but works with most of agencies. It contains shooting date so at first I was uploading it every time I photographed a person. Then I realized that it's to much hassle and left date empty. I have been using same releases for my family for 2 months now :-)
