Taking this down. Seemed like info not shared here. People are guarded about their ports? Anyhow.

speaking for your photos- most are very bland and don't have a strong concept.  In this business you really have to have something that jumps out and with strong concept or just will fade into the masses... 8)

I did have a look at your portfolio and your stats and you're doing OK for someone new to this.  We don't all instantly get what will sell and if you look at the first few hundred images from some of the best sellers, they often take a while to learn their trade.  A lot of people don't want to encourage more competition, that might be why you didn't get any good feedback but there's already so much competition, I don't see any point in harsh comments like Giveme5 gave you.

Sharpshot, thanks. I really appreciate your comments and feedback. Giveme5 may have a point too. It was hard to hear, but oh well. I'm trying. I think about what might sell and try to have concepts in mind when I shoot. Otherwise I just do what brings me pleasure... things that I really like. And I've been pleasantly surprised at the range of images and illustrations that have sold. It's a pretty high percentage of my portfolio. I really really appreciate you encouragement...

Just sent you a very detailed PM - yeah, I may appear to be harsh but I don't want to sugarcoat folks. I know I would never quit my day job thinking I am a good photographer  :)
