Title: Need some help with a Fotolia sale, please.
Post by: BigBubba on February 28, 2014, 09:49
Hi,
I am new to all this, so please help me figure this out :
Got this email from fotolia, sold a file, happy about it, but i am shocked by what i got for an XXL 29mb file that is listed for 10 credits on fotolia, if the sale price is 0.18 (as mentioned in the email) , does that mean that my share is 0.18 cents or, god help me 20% of that (Before tax)?  correct me if i am wrong, i am at the 20% level, and 20% of 10 credits are 2=2$.
so, help me out please.

Fotolia's Email :

File Reference: 61246094
File Name: Close-up Travel Arrangement of Euro money, Map and notepad diary
Purchase Date: 2014-02-28 14:36:58
Purchase License: XXL
Sale Price: 0.18

Thanks,
Lior.

If the subject line of the sale mail has "Fotolia - File Sold (Subscription)‏" it should have been a subscription sale. It is for 0.25$ at the entry level. In this case, the sale would have happened in the US and you have been deducted another 0.07$ for the withholiding tax. This is what I think has happened based on my experience (entry level) with FT.

Thanks ! If you have a credit sale, the subject would simply be "Fotolia - File Sold‏"  :)
