I'm an ex pro (now retired) newspaper/ magazine/ studio photographer in London, England. After ten years doing other things, I'm now trying to get into micro-stock photography and have had some pix accepted by several agencies.
I've spoken to a 21 year old slim and attractive looking young woman who works in a gym I go to who is happy to do some modelling for me for a reasonable payment. I don't want to go back into studio yet and over the years I've had enough of working with pro models, stylists and hairdressers, ie I'd like to keep things manageable and hassle free..
Here's my problem. What to my model to do? She will look good in business type clothes, light makeup, neat hair. She is also quite athletic. For the first session I want to work out of doors. Is there an effective way of coming up with ideas for what clients want? How do you find out? Where too look?
This whole stock thing is quite new to me and different from what I have done before so I feel a bit adrift!
