Title: same photo on multiple sites?
Post by: phoebeB on February 01, 2015, 14:07
Another newbie question:  Is there any reason not to upload the same photo on multiple sites?  I was accepted by SS and have been uploading images.  I'd planned to send the ones they rejected that seemed to me to still have value to other sites.  Since SS is "non-exclusive" does that mean I can send the ones they HAVE accepted to other sites as well?  Am I undercutting myself if I do?  Thanks in advance.

Nope, you can (and should!) send all of your images to the same sites, unless you have submitted them exclusively or RM somewhere.

Great!  Thanks for the info.

I upload them across about 12 sites and have good sales that way. Some sell better on one site than on another but since I have no way to predict which will do better where, they all go everywhere.

I used to have my images on a lot of sites but killed many of those sites as it was not worth the 25 cents per year I'd make.  I have my micro sites down to about 6 with Pond5 being a 7th and several video only sites I am trying. For me, it just was not worth my time with those non-performing agencies, but your mileage may vary.
