Title: Selling my product photography?
Post by: Bffphotography on September 18, 2016, 19:52
Are there any stock photography websites (or websites in general) that would buy product photos? There is a mix of white background and lifestyle. I have a mountain of beautiful images backing up on my hard drive and was wondering if there were another way they could be making me money. Any advice would be appreciated.

Thanks,

Newbie!

What do you mean by "product photos"?  There are lots of "product photos" - ie, things on white, on the sites already if you investigate a bit.

BTW, the sites don't buy the photos from you.  You license through them.

I think the only true way you will know is it put them up on a site and see. It's hard to predict what is going to sell and what isnt. Most everybody here has images they never dreamed would become their best-sellers. Any logos would need to be removed and keep in mind some companies don't allow their brands to be used that way. You arent very specific about what those products are so hard to tell...
