Hey Everyone, not sure how I didn't discover this site sooner, I'm always mooching around the interwebs researching photography related stuff.

Anyways, I've been an exclusive contributor with DT since Oct 2014 and have been making slow but satisfactory progress until they changed their search results to best selling last month. Since then my sales have pretty much died off and so today I took the jump and sent them my 30 days notice. So I'm looking for any tips or advice on where to go now, I know there are multiple agencies out there but some suggestions would be very welcome. I am a part time contributor with a very small portfolio that I'm working on growing. Which agencies would you recommend I start out with and what are your experiences with them

Thanks

Rick

Look to the right of the page and upload to any of the Top and Middle Tiers.

Rick, you are going to find it interesting and fun to start exploring other sites once your exclusivity ends. Make getting accepted at Shutterstock your number one priority - there is nothing like getting multiple sales daily to encourage you to keep going. SS is by far my biggest selling site (quantity and $) with Istock, Dreamstime, 123rf, Bigstock, following on (not always in that order). Also take a look at art sites like Redbubble and Fine Art America. Fotolia is big for many but doesn't (yet) take editorial -so I do not have enough images there to advise. Good luck and welcome to MSG  :) Kind regards, David.

Well on right side is poll like they said. I'm newbie also and I'm just on IS and SS for now and I found SS better. Only thing I could also say is that you can help someone earn more if you register over someones referral link. I learned that too late, if I new earlyer I would do the same.

Thanks for the replies everyone, when I first started out with stock I registered with multiple agencies before removing my profile and going exclusive with DT, so I have accounts with most of them, just waiting for my 30 days to be so I can start uploading. In the meantime I am going to go through my portfolio and clean it up in order to avoid too many rejections, I did quite well with acceptance on DT, currently ay 89.5% so I want to keep it up
