So I'm chugging along pretty well with a good number of sales per day (imo, for a newbie) and suddenly the last three days, zero. Nothing. I'm guessing weekends are generally slower? But I've never had a Friday to Monday with zip. Those with more experience, tell me!

Makes sense... it's crappy  :'( but it makes sense. Sigh. Someone on another board welcomed a newbie by saying "welcome to the addiction"... haha. Totally get that! I need to stop checking my microstockr stats.  ::)

Oh good! It's not just me. Haha it's great when things are going well but this slow down is brutal. And I've still been uploading quite a bit. SS is taking longer to review than they were. Need a good big sale to make my day.

The good news is that a newbie will see huge gains in their first few years- anywhere from 100% to 600% which is fun! Enjoy the moment while it last  8)

We even had about 12 times increase from last November monthly earnings to this November monthly earnings and yes, I have to confess, I check the earnings too often too :)

I'm still in a slow day with 3 DLs. After 6pm, I don't expect a lot more... I'm also frustrated because I still can't find any of where my photos/illustrations have been used. Whenever I reverse image search, I either find my own portfolio or nothing. There have been enough DLs now that something should pop up. I still think I'm doing something wrong. Or maybe they just are taking a loooong time to index.

Yes, because it's easy to go from 2 sales a day to 4.  Enjoy it.

Not all your sales will finish up on the web they might be on leaflets, magazines, internal company newsheets, restaurant menus etc. I do very occasionally to an image search out of interest but to be honest I would try and forget about it and concentrate on image production.

It depends on the sites activity, more active sites are indexed more often. I remember selling one of my new files and being excited, checked where it was used a few weeks later ... they put it on like 4 different websites and stuff on the single purchase, so be careful what you wish for. lol

That is the point of RF, so no surprise there.
But how did you know that the legitimate buyer had used it four times rather than it was legally used once then stolen by three other users?

yet another case of post hoc ergo propter hoc

my dec sales are up 10% from 2015,  up over 50% from 2014!

but those numbers show why it's silly to do single month comparisons  - a last 6 mo average of 2016 over 2014 is up only 25%

unless  your sales are steady with little variance, single month sales are more likely to look like a picket fence

I just talked about December, but for couple of years my sales were dropped about 75% , but portfolio still growing.

I started around the same time you did,  and having the same experience.   I say this not to offend you again, but to suggest we may have both hit the wall.  Believe me, I am not any happier about it than you.

One difference.   I gave up uploading after a year or two of losing money.  If I'm going to lose money anyway, I'd rather do it sitting on my a$$.

I was not offended. I don't think we hit the wall. It's was on the same time when they gone public and when they started to play with search engine.

Have you only seen the drop on SS?  I saw it pretty much everywhere.  Now tho,  Adobe/FT is picking up, so there is a bright spot.   If it continues I may start uploading there again.

For now I don't see Adobe/Ft as SS. I never stop uploading but it's not to compare!!!
