Title: Tax number for canadien seller over 30 000 $

Hello I have a question is a stock seller sell for more that 30 000$ of photo + contrat ... This person have to ask for a tax number? How that is work ? thank you

I think you are asking about a GST number. If you are in business in Canada and earn more than $30K/year the government requires you to have a GST number and to collect GST from people that you invoice. They are allowed to claim part of it back, so clients you invoice require your GST number to appear on the invoice. Not applicable to stock photography that I can see, since you are not invoicing the agencies.

yes, you would need to register for GST if you are selling more than $30,000 (outside a stock agency) through your own store in Canada.
