Title: vector size??fotolia says too small, less than required!!

most of my image are done within a canvas of 3000/3000 on illustrator...on shutterstock ther is no problem about size, but fotolia says(after zipping) my files size are less than required...can someone explain how you normally, i mean the vector size n pixel for all agencies...do you edit each image for each agencies requirements??or do you set a standard size for all???

Check the dimensions of the jpeg in the zip folder. There is a minimum like 3000-5000 if I am not wrong. 3000-3000 for an eps is more than enough.

I believe, that minimum resolution for jpg (in zip with eps) there is 15 megapixels (for example 3000*5000 pixels).
So at this moment I export in range 15.01 - 37.99 megapixels.
You can change DPI settings when exporting jpg or png files from Illustrator to get large files.

This resolution range works everywhere for me - except maybe for Veer, as they probably need
larger jpg for vectors.

For Shutterstock, I create small preview jpg (shorter side 500 pixels).

I make one size jpeg for all sites and it’s 25 000 000 pixels or slightly less.
The only exceptions are Shutterstock which gets the additional 800 pixel long side version and Canstock who create their own from the vector file.
