Maybe I didn't word it right. Which sites can you just join, upload and hope for DLs? :)
I think they are DT, Fotolia and 123RF?
One example of what I am NOT looking for is SS, since you have to submit 10 and get them approved before they can be sold.
Or do all sites require images to be approved before they can be posted to sell?

just about every ms site has a screening process that your submissions have to pass before they are accepted and put up for sale - if there werent , can you imagine the amount of junk that the sites woould be drowning in?
The only site I know that doesnt have any screenig is mostphotos - but surprise, surprise they are full of substandard images and thus have next to no sales...

If you can't get accepted at SS and IS, arguably what you produce probably won't sell even if you can get it uploaded elsewhere. I think it'd be a mistake to upload and hope - waste of your time.
But Fotolia and Dreamstime do not require a test. Take a look at a beginner's guide (http://microstockinsider.com/guides/beginners_index) for more information.

Mostphotos doesn't do any sort of review of images, see http://www.microstockman.com/mostphotos-review/ (http://www.microstockman.com/mostphotos-review/) - you just need 5mp plus files and they go live for sale right away.
But as was said above, you will not make much out of these sorts of sites, SS etc is where you need to be.
(just noticed noodle mentioned mostphotos too - never mind me, end of the day and I need to stop staring at this screen!)

The ''problem'' is that SS sales 2-3 times more images than all other sites ( DT, FT, 123RF) combined. Definitely worth uploading.

When I started took me a while to get accepted at Shutterstock but uploading to other sites was a useful learning experience but don't expect many sales for a while

The only sites worthwhile are the ones with tough editing, they are the ones selling. Sites that just approve any old rubbish are not worth bothering with.
If youre looking for an easy way out? there are none.

Get your standard up to that required by the top agencies then decide on your options from there.

SS and IS are the only agencies whereby you need to "qualify".
Submit 10 images to SS, get 7 or more approved and you're in.
Submit 3 images to IS, get them all approved, and you're in.
All agencies, that I'm aware of, do not require video clip qualification which explains why there's so much cr@p out there. That will change once agencies have a good stockpile of clips to offer buyers.

DP has some sort of qualifying process. at least I had to upload 5 photos for the test. Alamy as well, 4 photos.
But Agree with what has been said here. If you try to avoid sites that test you before you can start submitting, you probably wont do well on sites that do accept your photos.
