do you know of a survey or statistic data that shows who are the customers who buy and download photos, illustrations and vectors from the microstock sites? maybe some list that tells what kind of companies or persons frequently buy microstock.
please provide a list or data, don't answer with "methinks" raw descriptions. surely this question has been asked before, and if there is already a topic just insert the link. thank you.

Do your own research Mr. One Post. Go to a micro site, pick a subject, google search the image and see what you find.

I have a comprehensive list of names of companies and individuals who purchase content from microstock sites.
Unfortunately I cannot post this pile of data on a public forum as this is sensitive information.
Be prepared to cough up some $50,000 in exchange for this list.
I'm sure you understand that this information is not shared freely on the internet.

Once in a while I put some images into google search. I find out a lot about where my images have gone that way. Lots of tasty tear sheets, and a healthy potential client list.

Okay, I will be nice now- I found one of my tennis photos on the front page of a professional tennis players page! I thought that was cool especially since I like the player and even have one of his books!

Who downloads microstock images?
"There's Arnold the Browsinator, who looks for topical images — he represents the bloggers and editorial demand. There are three types of designers: the freelancer, the marketer, and the specialist. The last category represents someone who is working in, say, the Parks and Recreation Department, who has been looking for "forest," "bears," and "rocks" for the last six years. The last type of user is Roberta the Task Bot, who has been given a list of specific images for a textbook, for example, and simply searches down the list."

Still don't feel the urge for being nice. The OP did not even "blasted" his/her way back into his/her own thread yet.
