i got 2 sales in august, with around 150 files there. Both sales are vectors.

anyway, the uploading is so easy that you can just uploading it without more than few clicks. If you IPTC is in images then it will move directly to pending and get approved for sale.

uploading eps+jpg with IPTC for vectors. Photos are accepted too, but no photos with recognizable face.

and more important that the commission for contributors is 52%, it is hard not to support an agency that pays fair.

I reeally like the site too, like other have said it is very easy to upload to and I also find that review times are pretty quick.

Someone has signed up with my referral link and made a sale pretty much striaght away, so some pics are definitely selling.  It is a shame you can't see who you referred to see teh size of their portfolio for that sale.

Yes. Many times I wondered who my referred members are at GL. Hopefully GL will make referred members visible publicly (or at least visible for user who referred them). What do you think danoph? Can be this feature included on your site?

Hi all...I hope everyone had a good holiday!

@jwsc101 and @jareso - I added a section for referred users today at the bottom of the My Account page so you can see which sellers you've referred and the date they signed up. I hope this helps!

@ibogdan - We've been cleaning up our library recently due to copyright infringement issues and we are trying to weed out similar images in portfolios so the collection is more unique. That is why we have been rejecting more images than usual lately. I'm sorry you haven't sold much yet.

Also, the GL Collection is a section for images that we feel are exceptionally well done. They are hand picked by us.

@Dan
Any chance we'll see some better earnings reporting tools in the future? Right now it's tough to figure out exactly how much I earned in a specific month without manually adding up the individual sales for that month.

Hi Mike,

Sure, what kind of reports would you like to see?

Monthly earnings totals. I'd just like to be able to go back and see what I earned in total for a previous month. Most of us calculate earnings in the microstock business in monthly terms. That's how many other companies display data, and it's how most of the contributors keep track of earnings, on a monthly basis.

Most sites have features that allow for viewing historical earnings by month. It would be great if GL had a similar feature.

Hi Mike and and Microbius,

I updated the account page for sellers with monthly totals at the bottom. Let me know if that works for you and if you'd like any other kind of reporting available :)

The price increase seems to of worked well, sales are as good as they were before.  GL is in the top 10 in the earnings poll and I think it can move up a few places.

Thanks very much, I've only just seen this but can now see who I referred.  It's good news as well, one of mine has added lots of photos!

Just joined a couple of days ago, no sales yet with 100+ photos so far but the site is very easy to upload too and support is excellent in my book, planning to keep uploading to the site on a regular basis, hope to start seeing some sales soon... :)

Hi,

where can I find that info? The My Account page shows that somebody signed up through my referral code, but no further info to be found...

Thanks,
Dirk

If it is seller you can find info at bottom of the page. Click them and view their profile (Member Since, Portfolio Images, GL Collection Images, Sales) and you can also browse through their images. What else do you want to know? Are you looking for exact sales data? (You can figure that by browsing their images.)

Btw. Danoph, would it be possible to add information about from where does the new user came, before he/she registered?(HTTP_REFERER if present) Do you collect such info? Very few stock photo agencies actually collect such info (or include it in public/private referrer statistics) although it is very important feature. Also referral click-through count.
