Maybe not as funny as the D3X video, but that Hitler guy is pretty emotional about his photography.

No one on MSG is talking about the D7000?

Yeaaa... Nikon. Are they still making cameras ? For some reason, I'm waiting for a decent full frame camera from them since 2007. Instead, they choose to make another aps-c and load it with more pixies. The images are amateurly soft

Look at this image from the Nikon website Can't find the focus point

Cummon Vonkara, don't be shy.  The focus point is her breasts!   Their posted samples were supposted to be converted to JPEG with no sharpening etc.  I looked at them quite a while ago, seems to me there was one of a guy walking isn't there and it had quite a lot of noise.

I'd love to get video capability - I thought the price was excellent for a pro-sumer body - what am I missing?   Chase Jarvis's video looks pretty good on the little box.

This body has 2 SD slots though.  Why is that, is SD better for video - I thought CF was the best way to go?  There's still talk of a 30 something sensor coming out from Nikon next year.  I bet it will be over 10K though based on the price they introduced the D3X at.

Yes, the price is actually excellent, I could almost sell my D300 and pay only 300$ to get the D7000. The bad thing for me is, I want a pro full frame 3000$ worth camera. I want a upgrade of my D300 and not a duplicate loaded with pixels.

For the SD card, I don't know why they choose this format. It must be because the size of having 2 CF cards. I think I saw that higher iso image also. They should remove it lol.

Finally if they could only put their 24mpx sensor in a D700 body, that would maybe be enjoyable.

This is what you see before I think... D4s or x with a 34mpx sensor and D800 with the actual 24mpx sensor
