 We rock! ;D

I've recently learned that there is a microloan bank in Brazil, but I don't know how they are being funded, I only know it was created by a very young economist, after learning about the Grameen Bank.

I've just added US$100 to that amount. And I have a total of 198 loans now, 159 of which already paid back. I feel so happy to help!  :)

I've just joined as well - started with four loans until I get the hang of it

Steve, what I normally do is to reloan the money I receive there every month (roughly US$100). I hadn't put money there in a long time, but did today. I just couldn't resist!  ;D

things are moving quickly.  The team has now loaned $10,500

Ah - I see how it works. I got the emails to say that the various loans have now been made so I may as well kick off a few more. With such a great February (wish...), I can afford it!

I've just made my 200th loan and saw that MSG reached $10,925

I don't know how I missed out on knowing about this.  I had heard about microloans and wanted to try it, but I didn't know MSG had a group.  Guess that's what I get for mostly just reading the controversial threads ;)

Just joined and made two $50 loans.

I just joined too and spent my first 100$.  I wonder why India is not included on the map.  One of the poorest and largest countries, and not one loan?
