I'm sure my kids hear this about me too Jennifer. The majority of folk cannot stand a bar of me, but there so many others I have developed great relationships with over the years.

We all have challenging characteristics. My main issue is I cannot stand BS.

Two things that came over for me was that his interaction in the forums did seem rather confrontational to say the least however on a brighter note often entertaining

Plus his skills and love of PS and his willingness to share/help out was commendable

litifeta, I think of your blog post on dreamstime sometimes. It expressed quite the way that I was feeling, too.

I was quite new to microstock when TheMiz died, and also I'm not a native speaker of English, so I think I can't have appreciated his posts to the full. But a few of his statements have stuck in my mind. One of them being that he didn't upload any image that he was not convinced of 100 percent. Another one being that isolations are a hard job to do - no easy way out, no short cut. I browse through his posts sometimes, and each time I find it really sad to see "offline" on his profile page.

I can fully relate to what his daughter is looking for here. Quite a while after I lost my father I went all the way through Europe visiting people and places to find him, and I loved to hear anything that people had to say about him that I didn't know of. And I only realized what I had been doing when I returned back home, at the time, I thoght I simply was on a vacation to England.

I remember when I first came across him on the SS forums I didn't really "get" him. But over the years I really came to respect him as a person and his opinions. He couldn't abide people being dishonest or disingenuous. A lot of time when he was coming across as rude it was actually because he knew more about the people involved or the situation then perhaps others did.

Took me a while to think of it.  I used to use this all the time in London, the underground
