Any of you folks going to take pics/vids today and tomorrow? Heard it might be a good show based on the G3 rating.

No. I live in Southern Finland, where northern lights are visible, but always quite pale compared to actual ones in Lapland, Northern Finland

so far no reports of the lights. Many folks stayed up all night long and are very disappointed. I wonder if these images sell like hot cakes on SS and AS?

How much can I make selling Hotcakes?  ;)

If there are no clouds, no rain, I'll try tonight. Wisconsin isn't that far North and the city lights don't help.

Looks like I'm going to be out tonight.

you could sell hotcakes while out shooting the northern lights lol! Although scotch or hot whiskey would do better!

Selling like hotcakes? Anyone ever sell hotcakes?  :)

Best thing since sliced bread. What was the best thing, just before sliced bread?

No clouds, maybe some passing wisps, not enough for problems. No aurora. Tripod and battery pack were covered in frost, lens and camera were nice and clean. The newest version of portable night sky, is looking good. 6:40 PM until 7 AM. That's Sunset, before it was dark enough until it was too light, at this time of year.

I just got a discount coupon for a hearing aid. It was over $2,000 at which point I said, they are offering a discount for more than I'd be willing to pay for one of those, there must be some good profit built into hearing aids?

But they were right about Comet Kohoutek, the Millennium bug disaster, the Mayan Calendar end of the world, right? Doom sells and the sad part is people suck it in like the truth. Maybe being fooled is an all year pastime now?

Good thing we have the Internet which translates in ancient petroglyphs from the lost island of Rana "Infinite echo chamber of misinformation". How did they know?
